Swamp Base

I founded this base because I needed to spawn some new chunks in the nether to get Netherite. I found out after building most of this, and blast mining in the Nether that I didn't actually go far enough. I kept building on the base though. The most interesting parts of this one are underground.

Underground Works

In real life you would not want to build large scale underwater engineering in a swamp. But in Minecraft, it's all good. The coolest parts of this base are definitely below ground. Here is the storage area:

Underground storage area. That ceiling is pretty sketchy, its all swamp water one block up.

You can reach the storage area from the main house, or from a secret hole in the swamp surrounding the house.

It's a little hard to see, but you can swim down by those two diorite blocks and enter the storage area via waterfall.

Potion machine

I am a newb with Redstone, so I usually have to look up plans and copy them. This is OMGChad's potion brewing machine:

To be honest I forget exactly how this thing works. Basically though, you stock it with ingredients and then flip a switch to indicate what potion you want to make, then press the master start switch. It's magic!

Sleeping by the lake

I built the bedroom for this base underground, right up against the lake.

The front entrance. The granite is a makeshift container for concrete tower-mining.
