I wandered quite a while before arriving here. Pretty sure I was still looking for jungle. Didn't find it, but I thought this spot was cool so I set up shop.
Mainly this base is a modest house near a small, natural diamond mine. It has enough animals to provide food for exploring in the area. There is a village behind it, which I pillaged for terracotta.
