This is the place to get lots of gold. In the badlands, it's as common as iron. The house here is nothing spectacular, but I spent a lot of time improving the mine. Oh and I randomly found a Stronghold and End Portal!
I like making lots of bases and connecting them with rails, so having a lot of gold is very important. Fortunately, by virtue of being in a badlands, this place has tons of gold. I did my best to make this ravine quite safe and well lit.
Minecart and cobblestone works. Can't say creepers never spawn, but it is pretty rare.
The End
And of course, I found an End Portal here! It was a random find - no Eyes of Ender were needed.
The Stronghold. I connected it via rail.
When it's time, I will go in
I have not visited the End or killed the Ender Dragon yet.
