Gotta love the "Alienator." This is actually the only Blacktron I set that I own. For its time it has some very clever elements, like the swivel leg apparatus and the "shell" that uses castle-corner pieces.
While the Blacktron II sets were more advanced, its hard to beat the black and yellow badguy theme here. The Blacktron I astronaut minifigs had a much "grittier" vibe to them than the Blacktron II line. Of course in both cases its a goofy lego face underneath!
