Scrapwalls.com is a photo collage web application. After users have uploaded photos and chosen a shape and a format, the application arranges users’ photos into the shape that they requested. Once they are satisfied, they can order a print of their collage.
This was my first web design project. The client wanted a simple site through which visitors could request an estimate and learn about his services.
Smartgirl.org was moving to Drupal. I joined the team as a Drupal API specialist in order to re-design and improve a survey and survey analysis application that had existed on the old site.
I led the PHP and MySQL development for this project for SI 530, Database Design. The client was the Kelsey Museum of Archaeology at U of M, and they needed a way to browse their extensive database of over 100,000 records.
The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM) wanted to strengthen connections between its member organizations with a site that implemented the latest social networking features.
In SI 520, I learned to use the latest generation of Adobe graphics software, as well as how to create effective, meaningful designs for the web and for print.
